Fluid Truck is looking for a Product Designer to join our rapidly growing team in Buenos Aires, Argentina!

The Design Team
The Fluid Design team oversees and delivers on the end-to-end design of various customer-facing as well as internal responsive web and native mobile products. We are looking to extend our team to take on additional digital experiences within our ecosystem, with a focus on improving the value, functionality and user experience for our customers and internal business teams. This Product Designer will be a part of the Fluid Design team in Denver, Colorado and will collaborate with and take direction from various teams at Fluid such as Marketing, Operations, Product Management and Engineering teams.

The Position
We’re looking for an experienced (4+ years) Product Designer to design foundational patterns, UI components, tools, and processes that enable our Engineering team at Fluid to create consistent, high quality user experiences for our customers and internal teams (like customer support, sales, operations, etc.).While we’re looking for someone capable of full product design, we will be prioritizing User Experience skills (user flows, product functionality, information architecture, user research/testing, etc.) over UI/Visual Design skills.Experience setting up, maintaining and utilizing design systems within Figma is also a major bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Design (whiteboard, wireframe, UX/UI, prototype) the full platform and set of features required for various Fluid products (mobile web, mobile apps, etc.)

  • Conduct user research and usability testing of prototypes and designs

  • Design and maintain the design components, UI patterns, and documentation for relevant design systems and component libraries

  • Work side-by-side with product designers, engineers, and other stakeholders from around the company to design the tools and processes needed for a world-class customer experiences and products

  • Create documentation and assist with any additional content and activity related to teaching end-users on how to use the product

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Great Communication Skills in Enlgish
  • Think in systems. You can anticipate how a system will be used and the potential downstream effects of large and small changes.
  • Deep experience using Figma as a design tool and design system
  • Take pride in creating strong foundational systems and understand how to evolve them over time.
  • Care deeply about helping other designers and engineers. You understand the needs of both and can design tools and processes that enable collaboration
  • Have a sharp eye for detail in design and can collaborate with engineers to ensure the implementation considers that detail when applied with different constraints
  • Have experience working with user interfaces in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React)... You don’t need to code, but a base understanding of this technology is important.
  • Have experience designing WCAG compliant, accessible interfaces
  • Can communicate large, complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You understand that system-wide changes impact more than just designers and engineers and can understand how and when to communicate those changes
  • 3+ years of experience designing products and experiences
  • Bonus points for being able to point us towards live products (apps/websites/etc) that you designed
